Monday, June 23: Deadline for Receipt of Public Comments on Port/FAA Supplemental EIS.

Note: Although the announcement from the FAA claims that comments are only being accepted on the air quality section, this cannot be done under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). Once the "EIS" is open for comments, the whole thing is open for comments. (In other words, submit all the comments you have to make despite anything minor staffers at the FAA tell you.)

Be sure to get a receipted date stamp if you hand-deliver or a postcard confirming delivery if you mail it so that there won't be any argument with the FAA on whether you got your comments in. Please report ANY problems that you have with the FAA to the RCAA. We are watching how the FAA treats citizens this time because we heard so many complaints last time.
